For-Credit Course: What format can I expect for the Android/iOS course?

Our for-credit courses are totally awesome and unique for the following reasons:

1) There are no "exams", the class is 100% project-based.

• For the first 6 weeks, students build weekly Android apps that incorporate the key topics for that week. Each week has an assignment in order to apply the concepts they have learned. Weekly apps will take anywhere from 5-10+ hours outside of class session times to complete. Some of the weekly apps include: Flix, Twitter Client, Instagram Clone and more.
• For the last 6 weeks, students work in teams of 3 on an original app of their own design. The culmination of the class is a demo day event where students present their apps to the class, friends, and faculty. 

2) The class is NO COST except for any fees that you'd need to pay to the university for those credits (some sites run this course non-credit). CodePath.org is a non-profit fully funded by donations and company sponsorships.

Our main goal is to connect hardworking and motivated students with opportunities in the Tech Industry! The class helps us to train and also assess those who might be a good fit for some of our various company partners looking for internships or full-time employment.
