SKILL LEVEL: INTRO (AND 101) OR INTERMEDIATE (AND 102)
Please see the requirements to be eligible for admission into the Connected Classrooms Android course:

CodePath requires all students to meet the following requirements in order to participate in our Android courses.
- You are 18 years or older
- You are or will be enrolled in a US (Puerto Rico included) college or university within the calendar year
- You have access to a computer with the ability to run Android studio, at least 8GB RAM and at least 10GB of available disk space
- You can commit to attending classes and labs each week
- Your computer has a webcam and microphone, which you are willing and able to use in all virtual sessions as part of my active participation
Those who identify as Black, Latinx, Indigenous, from a low-income household, or are the first in their family to attend college are strongly encouraged to apply.
In addition to the eligibility requirements above, students will also be placed into the introductory or intermediate levels based on the prerequisites below.
AND 101: Intro to Android Development
- Have completed or have existing familiarity with an introductory programming language (i.e. C++/Java/Other OOP language)
- Understanding of: classes, methods, data types, arrays, conditionals
- Open to students from any major or students who have not yet declared a major
- You can commit to putting in 7-10 hours per week in addition to in-class time
- Pursuing a course of study related to computer science or other forms of computing or STEM subjects
AND 102: Intermediate Android Development
- Have completed an introductory Android development course or equivalent experience
- Majoring in CS, Software Engineering, or a related subject
- You can commit to putting in 7-10 hours per week in addition to in-class time
