What does observer status in the program mean?

Observer status means that you will not be attending the live sessions anymore and you will no longer be eligible for a CodePath certificate of completion.

Following are some key elements of what it means to be in Observer status:

• You will not be able to attend the instructor-led session anymore, but you can still have access to the session recordings via the course portal.
• You are no longer required to submit any assignments and do not have to meet any deadlines.
• You will be removed from the Slack announcement and career center channels.
• You will retain access to the entire course material, along with the list of practice problems.
• You will no longer be eligible for a course completion certificate.
• You cannot participate in the Emerging Engineers Summit.
